ShredStream delivers raw shreds directly from Solana validators to your server. You receive transaction data before blocks are finalized — giving you sub-block latency that isn’t possible with standard RPC or WebSocket connections. This is useful for MEV strategies, arbitrage bots, and any application where acting on data milliseconds earlier matters.

How it works

Validators broadcast shreds — the raw fragments that make up a block — as they are produced. Solami forwards these shreds directly to your server over UDP as soon as they arrive. You get the data before the block is confirmed.

Configuration

Each ShredStream requires three pieces of information.
1

Set your destination IP

Provide the public IP address of the server that will receive shreds. Solami forwards UDP packets to this address.
2

Set your destination port

Choose a UDP port on your server to receive shreds. Make sure the port is open and not blocked by a firewall.
3

Choose a region

Select the region closest to your server. Lower physical distance means lower latency. See Regions for a full list.
Manage your ShredStream configuration in the Dashboard.
Your server must be reachable from Solami’s infrastructure over UDP. If you’re behind NAT or a firewall, ensure the destination port is forwarded and open.
